At Broadwater Mouldings our team of engineers continue to push the boundaries of what is achievable in the FRP industry and we are on the lookout for like-minded people to join our team, based at the Beccles site.  These roles offer an amazing opportunity to be part of a close-knit, fast paced environment – producing FRP parts of market-leading quality across many sectors.

We have positions available in the following departments:

Moulding/Laminating (Beccles/Horham) – £9.54 – £20.00+/hr

Based at the Beccles site, this is a fast-paced role producing FRP parts.

Experience in a similar role would be ideal, although not essential. For people with the right attitude and transferable skills, full training will be provided. Opportunities for Day or Night shifts (Monday to Thursday 16.30 to 03.00) are available.

Trimming/Finishing (Beccles/Horham) – £9.54 -£12:00/hr

Working in conjunction with the Moulding/Laminating team, the role offers a chance to be part of a close-knit, team finishing FRP parts of market-leading quality for the some of the world’s biggest brands.

Experience in a similar role would be ideal, although not essential. For people with the right attitude and transferable skills, full training will be provided. Opportunities for Day or Night shifts (Monday to Thursday 16.30 to 03.00) are available.

Packing/Dispatch (Beccles) £9.54 -£12:00/hr
They say you never get a second chance to make a good first impression – which is why, at Broadwater Mouldings, feel it’s important that our products are protected and presented at the best they can be when shipped.

Experience in a similar role would be ideal, although not essential as full training will be provided. A forklift license would also be an advantage.

Purchase Ledger/Sales Administrator £10/hr (negotiable dependant on experience)

We are seeking an experienced part-time Purchase Ledger/Sales Administrator.  Reporting to the Office Manager, duties will include:

  • Matching invoices to delivery notes, checking all details match on quantity and price and goods have been received. Forwarding any invoice queries to the relevant person for action and following up
  • Processing of a large number of purchase invoices per month, reconciling to statements and obtaining any missing invoices promptly
  • Resolving queries with suppliers
  • Provide back-up support to the Sales Team to include sales order processing, transport bookings and documentation for UK and export despatches, obtaining the necessary proof of export documentation for HMRC where relevant
  • Creation of packing documentation weekly for the despatch team
  • Inputting general data as required
  • General office administrative duties, including but not limited to, photocopying, faxing and filing and archiving as required

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have previous purchase ledger experience
  • Have previously worked in a fast paced environment
  • Be exceptionally well organised
  • Value accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage their time effectively to meet tight deadlines
  • Be calm, with a positive and pro-active outlook
  • Demonstrate determination and a positive approach to solving problems and queries quickly and accurately
  • Have IT systems experience and be proficient in MS Office
  • Enjoy working to a high standard

This position is part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week (Some flexibility will be required at busy times, eg month end).

Maintenance Engineer – circa £35k pa (Dependant on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer.  Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, duties will include:

  • Ensuring the maintenance department complies with the company’s Polices & Rules.
  • Development & adoption of preventative maintenance programs/schedules
  • Modifying/repairing/servicing/installing machines, tools, or equipment.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure equipment faults are rectified without delay.
  • Maintain job logs, maintenance records, equipment condition reports & stock of appropriate service parts.
  • Housekeeping & organisation of the maintenance department.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors when necessary, to assist with works and ensure that standards of performance are maintained.
  • Use visual management tools & techniques to identify, control & measure team performance & set targets for improvement.

Ideal candidates will have/be:

  • Appropriate & relevant industrial qualification/s Electrical and Mechanical Level 3 or above.
  • Computer literate, preferably with some experience of planned maintenance systems.
  • Experience with a similar role of planned & a schedule maintenance involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
  • Possess a working knowledge of electrical circuits, PAT testing etc.
  • A sound understanding of: Electricity at Work and Health/Safety at Work regulations & best practise.
  • Current counterbalance & MEWP licence preferred.
  • Knowledge of air powered spray equipment.
  • Working Knowledge of PLCs and robotics.
  • Knowledge of lean operational management techniques such as 5S.
  • A team player possessing a ‘can-do’ attitude together with a hard-working action orientated approach & the ability to solve problems.
  • Display positive role model behaviour towards quality, safety & the environment.

This position is full time and candidates must have a willingness to work occasional shifts, over time and call outs if the need arises.

In return we offer a competitive salary (circa £35k) commensurate with relevant experience/qualifications
